CARL SANDBURG

Carl August Sandburg (Illinois, 6 de enero de 1878 - Flat Rock, 22 de julio de 1967)

Fue un poeta, historiador y novelista estadounidense. Nació en Illinois, hijo de padres con ascendencia sueca. Murió en su residencia de Carolina del Norte.

A lo largo de su carrera ganó dos veces el Premio Pulitzer, una por su biografía sobre Abraham Lincoln y la otra por su recopilatorio The Complete Poems of Carl Sandburg.
